Meditation experiences.

I have started meditating since October 2013, so i am still very new to it and i was wondering if anyone had any tips or methods to getting the most out of meditation?

I am struggling with the basic concept of what to do with my eyes, do they roll up/down/sideways, i end up feeling like i don’t know what to focus on. THEN when i am told to ‘imagine with my third eye’ i feel like i am just making up a scenario and then i question whether it really is my third eye opening up? Does anyone else suffer from the same doubt?

The most profound experience i had while meditating was at my meditation group on Monday, while we were closing down our Chakras i heard my friend next to me giggle cause her stomach rumbled. As we opened out eyes i asked her ‘Did you just giggle?,’ and she said ‘No i thought you were laughing at me cause my stomach rumbled.’

It was so bizarre, we both heard the giggle and it was right next to my left ear, where my friend was sat, and she heard it too. We couldn’t explain it. Has anyone else had any experiences like this?

I would love to hear your stories…..

Hello, Leanness. Your post is refreshing in its honesty and openness to learning. Thank you

You asked about technique. In my experience, it is wise at the beginning to fer out of our heads and just learn to be still and breathe. From there we live into meditation.
I’ve had several auditory experiences similar to the one you described. Youngave not list your mind!

Sorry. The script failed me. You have not lost your mind. I am learning that the veil between the worlds is an illusion. We are accompanied by spirits often, and sometimes we make them laugh. It seems you could have a new friend.
